HDFC Infinia vs Diners Club Black Metal - 2026 Comparison
RewardNinja
FOUNDERGuys seriously, given the recent devaluation trends, which super premium card from HDFC actually makes sense in 2026? 🤔
I currently hold Regalia Gold. Trying to upgrade via C2C.
- Infinia: Still the king but their strict 3L limit criteria is annoying right now. ₹12.5k fee.
- DCB Metal: Easier criteria, ₹10k fee, but terrible acceptance rate offline imo.
What are you guys prioritizing? Should I just push RM for DCB Metal right now?

VETERANif u travel internationally a lot, DCB is totally fine. but for domestic POS swiping at local stores, Infinia is a must to avoid embarrassment honestly 😅.

MODERATORMathematically DCB Metal still gives you matching 33% return on SmartBuy flights. The acceptance issue is vastly overstated if u just route everything via UPI for small transactions tbh.

EXPERTbro don't forget DCB Metal gives 10k points on renewal, which fully covers the fee. Infinia gives 12.5k. it's basically a zero sum game at this point. just take whichever one your RM is willing to give u LTF or FYF.
